Heaven Bound

Just thought I'd be posting updates on my manga Heaven Bound. :3

Wow, congratulations to you! When did you first start writing? And what gave you the idea? (gosh, I sound like I am in an interview!

Actually, it was about this time last year that I started writing it. What actually started me to thinking about writing a story was the fact that a friend of mine passed away, unsaved, and I realized just how little I was doing for God, even though He gave me so much talent. I knew that I had to do something, so one evening I just started brainstorming, and came up with something similar to this. ^^

It wasn't exactly the same...in fact, there were a lot of differences in the beginning. Elijah's original name was actually Jacob, and Harmony's name was Naomi. After a while, I wasn't pleased with the names anymore (they didn't fit the characters as well as I thought they would) and decided I should try something else. XD As for how I decided about the plot, I don't really remember.

This idea had been something I had written down for a long time. The very, very first version of it, before Elijah was the star, actually had a girl named Will Thira (her last name was first). And in it, her father was a general and he died or something, but his mind was saved using this weird dream technology, that would preserve his brain, or some such junk. >.> It was pretty bad. hahaha

wow, that's pretty cool! How would you consider your art skills? If you want, you can post your art on here?

...I dunno. XD; I'm not a good judge of my own art. I always think it all stinks. XDDDD hahaha

I'm pretty sure that if you have your own manga thing going on, you're art is pretty good! lol, don't be so hard on your art! XDDDD

it IS good! i haven't checked in on it for a while, but i'm sure HB's still goin strong! you should check it out saint, her and her sister are really AMAZING artists!

Ok, that sounds like something that I will check out! How long have you been working on HB?

I've been working on HB for ohh...a little over a year now. I haven't really been working on it for that long. :)

I’m curious; did you actually start drawing on your own? Or was it some kind of drawing talent inherited?

My sister taught me how to draw. :D Where she got it, I have no idea. XD;;;;
