Well, this is where you can post some hints that you know of, and they can be about ANYTHING....
I learned that if you have a clogged toilet all you have to do is put some DISH washing detergent into the bowl, and then let it sit for sometime. Then pour down about a bucketful of warm/hot (but not to hot) water into the bowl. Then you flush, if you have to repeat it, then do so accordingly.
